With Christmas being just around the corner, thought it would be fitting to compose a list of fun landscape related gifts to give this holiday season. Ideal for the special “Gardener” in your life but also appropriate for the host/hostess of your next holiday party, Secret Santa, friends and family…just about anyone you know!
1. Pottery – you can simply add a pair of gloves and a trowel an you have a gift set.
2. Statuary – A statue adds a unique touch to a garden.
3. Fruit Trees – Try giving a mango, avocado or citrus tree. Feeling adventurous? Try a jaboticaba, grumichama or black sapote. With proper care, will provide tasty fruit for years to come.
4. An Edible Arrangement – Help someone get their herb or vegetable garden started with an assortment of their favorite edibles. Create a themed basket such as a “Pizza Basket”, with oregano, basil, tomatoes and peppers.
5. Butterfly Kit – Help someone start their own butterfly garden with the plants that will attract butterflies this spring. Some flowers are Daylily, Iris, Lavender, Phlox, Asters, Butterfly bush, Heliotrope, Cosmos and Zinnia.
Wishing you a beautiful holiday season and a new year of peace and prosperity!
Many Thanks,
